7 Minute New Mind New Reality Visualization Exercise (This will CHANGE YOUR LIFE!)

In this week's  episode, I’m going to share how to train your mind to instill healthy thoughts, new mental habits so you can be more creative and successful. As a certified Reiki, NLP, and Law of Attraction Practitioner; I have created this exercise combining the three modalities and the results are amazing…It will change your life.

The action we take, learn something new or just contribute to an experience build neural pathways in our brain. When these neural pathways are triggers repetitively it becomes mental habits. Therefore, the expectation of your life; whether you expect success or failure, is the results of your mental habits. So, how do we change our mental habits?

We conjured enough energy to create a new neural pathway to override the old habits.

Please look at the steps first before performing this exercise.

Step 1: Breathing Exercise

I always recommend breathing exercise prior to meditation or visualization to help slow down mental chatter, especially negative chatter. This breathing exercise is called Alternate Nostril Breathing – This simple but powerful breathing technique helps balance the left and right brain hemisphere and settle the mind and emotions.

Step 2: Frontal/Occipital Hold

Our thoughts, dreams, ideas, and goals are formed by our Third Eye Chakra, located at the brow.  When the 3rd Eye chakra is balanced we can think clearly and able to use visualization. Frontal Lobes (located on just below forehead) involves the emotional response to self and the environment, memory for habits and our personality.

Sit in a comfortable and relaxed position. Close your eyes.

One hand across the forehead area and the other at the back of the head where the skull joins the neck. Hold until you feel a pulse in the forehead and/or back of the head.

The hand at the back of the head is the Occipital Lobes (located at the back of the head) involves receiving, processing and interpreting sensory and visual information. It’s the main center for visual processing. Hold until you feel a pulse in the back of the head.

As a Reiki Practitioner; we are taught that our hands are life force energy. And where we place our hands is where we’re charging that area with positive, healing energy. The pulsating is the energy flowing through the neural pathway.

You can perform this step for 2.5 minutes.

You still with me?  Great!

Step 3: Create a Brand New Thought

Now, as you have your hand in the position, it’s time to create a brand spanking new thought pattern…what desire do you want to attract? Just have one thing in mind.

With this new set of thoughts, imagine yourself experiencing your desire. At this point, we’re triggering the occipital lobes, we’re creating a visual perception of your new reality. Continue to hold the picture or mental movie.

Now, create the positive feeling as you experience this new reality. You will know your energy has been elevated when it feels like the energy goes up and expands…a negative feeling contracts or shrinks. Feel excited as if you already received what you want. Allow the energy to flow for as long as you can.

Step 4: Temporal Hold.

Now we change the position of our hands and move to the temporal hold. The temporal lobe  (located at the side of the head above the ears.) have to do with visual perception, memory, and auditory perception.

As you hold the thought and feeling, visualize the picture being expanded in bright colors… (It doesn’t matter what color as long as it bright).

What sound do you hear in the background at the time of you experiencing this desire?

Try expanding the picture and colors even more to the size of the room that you’re in.

What sounds do you hear?

As you expand the picture increase the volume of the sound.

Try expanding one more time but make it as large as the house or building you’re currently in. If you’re outdoor as the time of this exercise, expand the picture to 200 or 250 ft. from you. Increase the volume of the sound/noise even more.

Just hold it….

The visual information from your occipital lobes and the emotions from the frontal lobes will send sensory and visual information to the Temporal lobe for further processing. The temporal lobes than connect the visual information received with memories.

Now, expand it one more time until the picture burst into pieces.

We are programming our subconscious mind to connect the sensory and visual information from our newly thought of reality and ingrain it into our memory.

Breathe in deeply and exhale….now open your eyes.

This exercise needs to be performed at the minimum of 21 days. It takes at least 21 days to create a new habit. A new mental habit will change your life.
