Laughter – The Key to Coping during Tough Times
When’s the last time you laughed so hard that your cheeks, stomach or your back aches? Has it been awhile? Maybe it’s time for you to add humor session to your calendar when you’re trying to survive some challenging times.
Among other things, Laughter release endorphins and dopamine, that feel good chemical and reduces your cortisol levels (“stress hormones”). Laugher is scientifically proven that reduce stress, diminish pain and strengthen resilience.
But I know you asking “how can I laugh during struggling times and serious events”?
Laughter transforms your energy – when we laugh, our whole body vibrates, including our cells, tissues, organs, and chakras.
Everything in the universe vibrates at its own frequency. Therefore, these vibrations have an influence on our physiology.
But, disharmony of sound can lead to discomfort. And going thru struggles, tough times can lead to some discomfort unless we begin to correct the imbalance by toning that sound of laughter.
What do I mean?

HAHA – Using the vowel A along with H – stimulates the kidneys, lungs, and stomach. Reduces the fear, grief, and worries.
HEHE – Using the vowel E along with the H – stimulates the liver, the gall-bladder, and the muscular tissue. It reduces anger and the internal stress.
HOHO – Using the vowel O along with the H – stimulates the spleen, pancreas and releases energy from the digestive system. it reduces worries and overthinking
HUHU – Using the vowel U along with the H – restore the balance of the large intestine. It removes the negative effects of painful thoughts and mental blocks of the past.
Typing “HaHa” in a text message doesn’t have a vibration because the person sending that message may not be genuinely sincere. Without true sincerity, there’s no effective vibration.
Humor can change your perspective. It’s a catalyst for change – you start to look at your problem in new ways or you realize that your problem is not as devastating as you felt. And when we’re laughing at ourselves or our mistakes it creates an emotional detachment from the situation.
Laughter allows you to let go – let go of the situation and let go of insecurities. Humor helps you forget judgments, criticisms, and doubts. Laughter helps you forgive yourself, people and circumstances – when you reflex on our experience.
Laughter is contagious. If you bring laughter into your life, you can help others laugh. When you elevate the mood of others, we diminish their stress level and improve the quality of the social interaction.
